Bad Princess Party Guide

Want to hold a Bad Princess book party with your kids? Here are some fun, creative activities to enjoy:

Royal Cupcakes
  1. Set up a table with undecorated cupcakes, frosting tubs, and cups of sprinkles, and other edible goodies.
  2. Decorate and eat!

Tiara Blingathon
  1. Print tiaras onto card stock and cut out with scissors.
  2. Adorn tiaras with glitter glue, feathers, sequins, and plastic jewels.
  3. Once the glue is dry, tape tiara to fit head. Et voila!

Princess Portraits
  1. Set up a “throne” using a chair and cushions.
  2. Fill a box with scarves, clothes, and props. (Props can range from anything from a feather boa for a glam princess, bow and arrow for a warrior princess, or books and a feather quill for a scholar princess.)
  3. Don a tiara and strike a pose!
  4. Print out photos and exhibit them.

Princess Paths to Power

Game begins on page 121 of Bad Princess. Two to four “princesses” may play.

  1. You’ll need one die (half of a pair of dice) and a small token for each player. Suggested tokens: acorn, small rock, button.
  2. Follow game instructions.
  3. Once a winner is chosen, enact a coronation ceremony.
