New site alert
I'm pleased to announce that I've a new site in the works, which will combine my author site with Muse Publications (aka my little publisher-that-could). We're now over at ReadMuse.net; in time KrisWaldherrBooks.com will point to this new site, along with my other urls. The reason for the new site is multi-fold. As Muse has grown, it's become part of the "Kris Waldherr" author brand, whatever that is. In addition, direct book sales of our books have expanded to the point
Fulfillment and other news
Advance copies from the printer, woohoo! An update from Muse Publications, my micropublisher-that-could: If you backed Tarot for Storytellers on Kickstarter, we're nearly fulfilled! The books are on press and autographed copies in the works. Right now, the only outstanding orders are those where backers have yet to send their shipping information. In other news, if you missed the Kickstarter, preorders are now open for Tarot for Storytellers in e-book and softcover. Books ship this fall. Here's the deal: The e-book is available
Summer is here . . .
Here's a quick round up of what's what in my studio: • After a successful Kickstarter, Tarot for Storytellers has moved onto the production end of publication. I'm finalizing the book design and doublechecking book proofs before we officially go to press. If you backed Tarot for Storytellers on Kickstarter (and thank you so much if you did), keep your eyes open for the backer questionnaire in late June/early July, so I know where to send your books. • If you missed
Tarot for Storytellers is launched!
As of yesterday morning, Tarot for Storytellers: A Modern Guide for Writers and Other Creatives is officially launched on Kickstarter! I'm thrilled that the book has already met its funding goal—always a relief—and was named a Kickstarter Project We Love. (Woohoo!) Right now, we're inching up onto 150 supporters, which is when our first stretch reward unlocks. If that's not enough to entice you to back, there are Early Bird discounts on the e-book, softcover, and hardcover editions thru midnight ET
Busy, busy, busy…
A sneak peek at what I've been working on these days. Happy spring! As you can see in the photograph, the print book design for Tarot for Storytellers is well underway—I'm so excited to share the book with you! Though some finetuning remains for the cover, the main elements are there. The details: Tarot for Storytellers will be available from Kickstarter later this spring in paperback, hardcover, and ebook formats. Shipping will be in early summer, if all remains on schedule as
