Lost History Paperback ~ 2 days to go!

Two days until paperback time! Today’s quote comes courtesy of Erika Swyler, who is one of my agency sisters (meaning we share the same literary agent) as well as one heck of a writer. I would recognize an Erika Swyler novel even if I didn’t see her name on the cover. For starters, Erika’s novels are populated with some of the most original characters I’ve ever read: a mad scientist father unable to let go of the past; a lonely librarian held in thrall to a mysterious book that knows more about his family history than he does; mermaid mothers; astronaut daughters; and oh, so much more. Her novels are also deeply heart-felt, deeply intelligent, and gorgeously written.

All this is preamble to saying that you haven’t already read Erika’s The Book of Speculation and Light from Other Stars, you must do so immediately.
