A very messy studio

Current view of my very messy studio. (The messier the studio, the higher the creativity?) As you can see, I’m deep into finalizing the design of The Goddess Tarot 25th anniversary edition collector’s book. For this publication, I’ve added previously unpublished sketches, new tarot spreads, expanded goddess descriptions and art, a new introduction detailing the history of The Goddess Tarot, a foreword by dear friend and famed tarotist Sasha Graham. Oh, and I completely revised/rewrote/expanded everything I’ve previously created for the deck to reflect all I’ve learned and grown as a tarotist since The Goddess Tarot was first published in 1998. (Whew! A lot of work!)

The book will be printed in glorious premium color and available on Kickstarter at four price points (including a deluxe limited edition) to make The Goddess Tarot 25th Anniversary Edition accessible for everyone—I think it’s going to be really special! I’m also planning special early bird discounts for those who purchase in the first 72 hours of the Kickstarter.

So, what’s left to be finished for the book? Right now, editing and proofreading before a last check on color and design. Then I’ll have sample books printed to make sure the art is printing correctly before we go live on Kickstarter in September. (Nearly there!) My intent is to have everything finalized as much as possible for shipping once the Kickstarter ends. Ideally speaking, I’d love to get allll the books to everyone by the holidays, even the personalized limited editions.
